Goodbye 2016, Hello 2017!
Happy New Year Everyone!
As we say goodbye to 2016, we reflect on so many things that have happened this year. 2016 has been a year of turbulence as we have lost some greats: Muhammed Ali, Prince, Gene Wilder, Carrie Fisher, Alan Thicke, Phife Dawg, Kimbo Slice, Bill Nunn, Tommy Ford, Gwen Ifill and special friend, auntie and amazing dear heart to me and many, Ms. Cleo! Just to name a few.
I miss and love you, Ms. Cleo, but I know you're looking down on us from that veranda in the sky!
Along with these famous names we had some not so famous names that resonate within us, Philando Castile and Alton Sterling, just to name a few. And yes, Black Lives Do Matter!
We saw our nation elect it's first reality TV star and non-politician to be the head of the United States, Donald Trump, and we will see our last moments with our beautiful 1st family and 1st Black President, President Barack Obama, 1st Lady Michelle Obama, Malia and Sasha.
In reflecting, I am reminded of the good by looking within my own company, Untamed Publishing. UP has seen some great moments in 2016. For starters, Untamed Publishing launched May 30, 2016! We have not been fully operational for one year, but in 2016 we were birthed, and it has been full steam ahead ever since. We have given out gems of author, publishing, marketing and business advice from many outstanding guest bloggers: Tammie Davis, Vulyncia Poindexter, Kenny Black, Kiana Donae, LaVan Collins, Author Rashida, Alyssa Hunt, Crystal McDonald, L. Loren, D.D. Wright, Kisha Townsend, Jay Kincaid, Heather Butler and LaToya Murchison. THANK YOU ALL! We've secured wonderful REPEAT clients with potential clients in 2017 looking to add to the roster. We launched our own APP! (Download "Shopping by Wix" and search Untamed Publishing). Our Untamable Client, EroticKookie hosted a fun and sensual giveaway, and UP gave back to the community by participating in the Strictly Poetic Breast Cancer Awareness auction.
Keeping true to my author roots, my books can now be found in Anotha Level Books, Maleah Solange Bookstore, Book Teas bookstore, Mahogany Reads bookstore and soon in Source of Knowledge bookstore, and I released a collaboration novella with Author JC entitled, The Contract (Cop That lol!)
2016 has a been a busy and successful year for Untamed Publishing and we look forward to more great things to come in 2017! Let's introduce you to what's new...

Mostly, I want to take the time to say thank you to all of you who have supported me and Untamed Publishing tirelessly. I want to encourage all of the authors and entrepreneurs to keep striving as the new year comes. And of course, I must say, none of this would be possible without the help, patience, and love of my family (Major Love to my hubby Chris and my kiddos- Kiana, Christian and Kam) I love you guys and everything that I do is through the grace of God and for the betterment of you.
