Hi Christy! Let me first say it is an honor to have you interview with UP. Welcome to the UP HOT SEAT! Before we begin, please tell us a little about yourself.

Hello, my name is Christy Sanderson. I’m 28 years old and I’m from a small town in Mississippi. I’m an author, entrepreneur, and public speaker. At the young age of 23, I fully committed myself to God, letting Him take total control of my life, and started my own ministry, Glory Nation. My life purpose and mission are to experience and share God's Glory, to fulfill God's promises, and to help others become closer to Jesus Christ to find their life purpose. I’m also a woman of God. I live according to God’s will and not Christy’s will, and I’m a follower of Christ. I’m also a virtuous woman. Therefore, I strive to live for The Lord and to be the woman God created me to be!

I have been featured on the cover of UBAWA Magazine, and several radio interviews. In fact, I was once a Co-Host on the Digital Breeze radio show in Atlanta, Ga and I have done several public speaking events.

Wow! That is a lot. Walk in your purpose girl. Was starting the ministry a reason you decided to become a published author or was there another reason?

Actually, when I was in high school, I would always write in a journal, one day I lost it and my writing spread throughout my whole high school. Everyone was talking about it even some of the teachers and that’s when I realized I wanted to become a published author.

I would have been a nervous wreck! I'm so happy that you had a positive experience with your writing being surprisingly exposed to the public. So tell us what genres do you write that appealed to your high school and current readers?

In my writing, I write about inspirational life circumstances and inspiring Christian people.

With you being such an inspiration, can you please tell us if you were to write a book about yourself what would you name it?

I already published a book about myself and its title "From Nothing into the Woman of God: Spiritual Life”.

That leads me to my next question. Let's discuss your current work. What is your current book project? My current book, “Woman of God Stop Looking for Love” is about women learning to love themselves and to stop looking for love in all the wrong places. The kind of love they are searching for can only be found through Jesus Christ, and when you learn how to love yourself first and then that Godly husband will come to you. If you are not whole or complete in Christ, you will never find that true love you are searching for. In other words, if you don’t love yourself, how can someone else love you?

I love that. There are so many young women who need this message in this day and time. Kudos to you for delivering the message. What is your upcoming project about? When will it be released?

My upcoming project is a part two of my life story, “From Nothing into the Woman of God” and it will be released in March of 2018.

Coming this month! Readers be on the look out! Now that you have books under your belt, what are some of your other aspirations for your writing career?

Honestly, my aspiration is to inspire as many people as I can. To help them find their purpose in life and become the person they were created to be.

Now let's get to know a little about Christy as an author. What makes your writing stand apart from other authors?

My writing stands out from everyone else is because I don’t write on my own. I allow the Holy Spirit to write for me.

Can I just say POWERFUL? You were ordained by God to do this and that's a blessing in itself. When you're writing and you hear from God what is a unique writing habit that you've developed?

I would go walking at the track, swing after that and then all the thoughts that came to my imagination while I was walking and swinging. I would write everything down sitting on the bench at the park.

When it comes to writing, are you a morning person or a night owl?

While doing most of my writing, I do it mostly at night or early in the mornings. I would wake up in the middle of the night to start writing while I’m still in the bed.

Would you like to collaborate with other authors on a book project?

I would love to collaborate with other authors on a book project.

Name your top 5 favorite indie authors. Why are they your faves?

Ladonna Marie, Jennifer N. Quetant, Ayannah Williams, Carl Weber and Sister Souljah are my favorite indie authors because their books are inspiring and entertaining.

I'm with you on that. I love Ladonna, Carl Weber and Sister Souljah. They are three of my faves too! Now we want to get a little personal with you. Tell us a little about Christy. Outside of writing, what are your favorite past times?

In my past time while I’m not writing, I enjoy reading.

Tell us one thing about you that is a little-known fact.

I was nominated for the top 100 Authors of 2017.

What is one lesson you’ve learned since becoming a published author?

One thing I have learned since becoming a published author is to stay consistent.

What is one myth about being a published author that you learned and would like to share?

One myth about being a published author is that self-published author are not as successful as traditional authors.

Christy, it was a pleasure to interview you. We look forward to your future works! Please connect with the author and check out her book, “Woman of God Stop Looking for Love”.

Synopsis: Woman of God Stop Looking for Love

When Adriane Haynes, a God-fearing teenager looking for love, fell for the wrong man, it was the beginning of a nightmare for her. Brought up in a strict Christian family, she had been denied any show of love and affection from her father who was often away. When he did return, he showered her with gifts to make up for his absence, but the truth was that was never what Adriane wanted. So, when Adriane meets Julian, an older and more worldly man, she not only falls for him but also falls into the trap of allowing him to buy her affection too. As their relationship deteriorates into emotional and physical abuse, Julian lies and cheats on Adriane, controlling her body and mind until he becomes bored and eventually discards her. Alone and devastated by her loss, Adriane embarks on a journey to allow Jesus back into her heart and finally find the love she so desperately wants. But to find true love she must first find a way to love herself again. And to find a man who is worthy of her, she must accept The Lord as her personal Savior. But can He find Adriane a God-fearing husband who will love Him more than he loves her?
